Well, since you've extended the invitation, get the firewood and lawnchairs ready. Instead of another soggy mountain bike festival in the Valley like last April, all us Anchorage types will load up our float tubes and beer, and show up at your place!
Ha! Yep, 40 degrees feels like a heatwave, that's my son in the t-shirt. Nope, we didn't fall in.
It is all snow-melt from the surrounding fields. One day it was 20 degrees and the next it was 40. A melting frenzy going on.
Hmmm, a recommendation for professional help from a Frigid Bits guy....somehow that just doesn't seem like a legit referral. We did it BEFORE the tequila...no chemical influnces...we aren't crazy, just *desperate* for "summer" activities

Is that just from melt? Did you fall in?
You might need professional help, woman!
That does look like a hoot, though.
Looks like something best done after a shot or two of tequila.

Winter rafting.....umm, I bet you folks are *really* ready for some warm weather:-)
Now that looks fun. Especially since the person in the picture is wearing a T-shirt, when it can't be much higher than 40 out. Very Alaskan.
